Since it seems to have come up suddenly, how 'bout something on Japanese politics? I know the LDP is in there, but I don't think there's anything on the houses of the Japanese Diet or the Prime Minister.

The Diet itself is listed, see: Kokkai (The Anime Companion [vol.1] p.72). I have coded some Diet and PM related items for higher priority. I'll poke around my database to see what else is in there on politics.
Given that the DPJ has won over 300 seats in the Diet the next several months should be interesting. This is a significant change in Japanese politics given that the LDP party has had little serious challenge for decades.
